What the service does
Glyphcast takes a long video you provide, finds the moments most likely to work as short clips, and cuts them into vertical clips with captions and reframing. Selection is automatic and based on signals in the video itself — speech, motion, audio energy, and where available, public engagement data.
Which moments it finds is a judgement made by software. We do not promise that any particular moment will be selected, that the clips will perform on any platform, or that the number of clips produced will reach your plan's maximum — that maximum is a ceiling, and quality decides the number below it.
Your account
You sign in with Google. You are responsible for the security of that Google account and for everything done through your Glyphcast account. Tell us promptly if you believe someone else has access.
One person, one account. Sharing an account to exceed a plan's limits is a breach of these terms.
Your content, and the rights you need
You keep every right you already have in the videos you upload and the clips produced from them. We claim no ownership of either.
You must have the right to upload what you upload. That includes video you did not create yourself: importing a video from YouTube does not give you rights to it, and whether you may use the result is your responsibility, not ours.
You grant us permission to store and process your video for the sole purpose of providing the service — transcribing it, analysing it, cutting clips from it, and serving those clips back to you. That permission ends when you delete the video.
What you may not upload
Content that is illegal where you or we are; content that infringes someone else's copyright or other rights; sexual content involving minors; content intended to harass a specific person; or material you are contractually barred from processing.
We may remove content and suspend an account for a breach of this section. Where the breach is serious or repeated we may do so without notice.
Plans, limits and fair use
Each plan carries limits — videos per month, clips per video, longest video, and how many videos process at once. They are enforced by the service and shown on the pricing page. Limits apply per billing period and do not roll over.
Plans also carry a fair-use ceiling on total processing, which exists to stop one account degrading the service for everyone else. It binds on abuse and is well above ordinary use.
Payment
Paid plans are billed monthly in advance, in Indian Rupees, through Razorpay Software Private Limited. We never see or store your card, UPI or bank details.
Prices are shown on the pricing page and may change. A price change never applies to a period you have already paid for, and we will tell you before it applies to you.
Upgrading takes effect immediately and starts a new billing period: you are charged the new plan's full price and receive its full monthly allowance, not the remainder of the old one.
Downgrading takes effect at the end of the period you have paid for — you keep the higher plan and its allowance until then. Cancelling works the same way.
How long we keep your clips
Finished clips stay available for 90 days from the day they are produced, after which they are deleted. Download anything you want to keep. Source videos you upload remain until you delete them or close your account.
Availability
We aim to keep the service running but do not guarantee it will be uninterrupted. Processing depends on third-party services — speech recognition, AI scoring, video sources — which can be slow or unavailable. When they are, clips may take longer or be produced without a feature that depends on them.
Ending the agreement
You may cancel at any time from the billing page; access continues to the end of the period you have paid for. You may delete your account at any time, which deletes your videos, clips and transcripts.
We may suspend or end an account that breaches these terms. Where we end an account for our own reasons rather than yours, we refund the unused part of the period.
Liability
The service is provided as it is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost audiences, or indirect losses arising from your use of it. Where we are liable, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim.
Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Changes and governing law
We may change these terms. Material changes will be notified in the product before they take effect, and continuing to use the service after that means accepting them.
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and its courts have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
