Ask us anything elseAn upgrade applies immediately and starts your month again: you pay the new plan's price and get its whole allowance, rather than whatever was left of the old one. A downgrade applies at the end of the period you have already paid for, so you keep the plan you bought until it runs out — cancelling works the same way, and the billing page shows the exact date.
