What Glyphcast is

Glyphcast turns a long video into short vertical clips. You upload a podcast episode, an interview, a webinar or a conference talk, and it returns the moments worth posting, cut to 9:16 and captioned.

The part that matters is how the moments are chosen. Scene detection finds the cuts, audio and motion analysis describe what is happening, the audio is transcribed locally, and the scoring runs against that real transcript rather than against a guess about what a good clip looks like. Every stage is described in full on the how-it-works page, including the one capability that is switched off.

02

Who builds it

One person, working from Surat in Gujarat, India. Glyphcast is a registered sole proprietorship - the Udyam registration number is printed on the contact page and can be verified against the government register by anyone who wants to.

There is no support team behind a ticket queue. Mail sent to the support address is read by the person who writes the code, which is the honest description of what a one-person business can offer and the reason the response window is stated rather than implied.

03

How it makes money

Paid plans, and nothing else. There is no advertising on the product, your video is not training data for anyone's model, and the clips you generate are yours to publish wherever you like.

The free plan is not a trailer. It runs the same pipeline the paid plans run - the same scene detection, the same scoring, the same captions - on a real video of yours, so the decision to pay is made after seeing the actual output rather than before.

04

What it will not do

It will not download a video you do not own. Glyphcast works on files you upload, and the terms ask you to confirm you hold the rights to what you put through it.

It will not promise a number of viral clips. The scoring ranks the moments in your video against each other; it cannot know how an audience will react, and a product that claims otherwise is selling a guess as a guarantee.

Finished clips are kept for a limited window and then deleted. The exact retention period is stated in the plan details and in the privacy policy, so the storage promise is a published figure rather than an assumption.
